Who is JKG Physiotherapy?

JKG Physiotherapy is run by Jessica Seeley (nee Grainger), delivering Physiotherapy, Sports Massage, Pilates and Acupuncture within central Hampshire. Specialising in biomechanical injuries, horse riders, equine and canine treatment.

Here is a little about my story so far!

“I graduated from the University of Southampton and completed my junior training in Surrey within the NHS before moving back to the area to specialise in spinal and sports physiotherapy privately.

I have also undertaken a Masters Degree at the University of Liverpool to expand my treatments to horses and dogs; utilising specialist skills to help both humans and animals maintain excellent musculosketeal health and optimise performance.

I was fortunate enough to be selected as a Sports Massage Practitioner at the London 2012 Olympics and worked hard ironing out all the aches and pains pre and post competition on a wide variety of athletes. It was an amazing experience and taught me so much about elite sport and how I can apply and build my own skills to offer the best treatment possible to my clients.

I have also trained as a Pilates instructor and offer 1:1 sessions with clients as well as running classes which can be aimed at specific needs or skills you want to develop or just as a great way to get fit, have fun and relax.

I enjoy giving educational talks about rider biomechanics and Pilates to riding clubs and interest groups, sharing my passion for this exciting and growing areas of the sport.

I enjoy horse riding and competing at both Show Jumping and Eventing when I get a chance and am often seen with my dog 'Brody' in tow who loves coming to work and offering puppy therapy! ”
